Posted: July 22nd, 2016, 6:12 amHello All, My Mom got me smoking 3 years ago when she bought an electric Masterbuilt off of QVC. I'd only been a griller and frankly saw no need to pick up another hobby. At least until my first smoke! I've pushed that electric about as far as it can go, smoking year round in the garage, but it only goes up to 275 F. It's good for smoking, but that's about it.
After extensive online research, I settled on the Yoder 640. We picked it up in NH last weekend (no sales tax in NH). I've been breaking it in slowly, and tonight will be my first smoke (shrimp, followed by grilled chicken breasts) [youtube]https://youtu.be/nF-V223nC8k[/youtube]. Excited!
